HYTHE PIER IS REOPENING

 You asked, and we listened.

After months of closure, I’m so proud to say that Hythe Pier is reopening.

Behind the scenes, this hasn’t been a small task.

We've carried out extensive electrical upgrades, alongside a full clean up of the pier, made possible with the support of local businesses DFC Electrical, Masterblast and Holbury Tool Hire. As well as volunteers and people who simply care about the pier as much as I do.

From 10am on Thursday 2nd April the gates will reopen.

For now, the pier will be open under The Hythe Pier Company management, and we’d love to welcome you back:

Every £1 you spend goes back into the pier, supporting its future as we begin our transition into a charity.

Come and walk the full length of the pier (700 yards / 640 meters) take in the views, and be part of this next chapter.

Whilst the ferry and train are not yet operating, we could see how incredibly important it was that we bring our much loved pier back to the community. This is hopefully the first step towards restoring the service.

Hythe Pier is open and it’s yours to enjoy again.

We can’t wait to see you all on the pier.
